Taller or wider bars done right: extended cables, brake lines, and wiring — routed internally where the model allows. Fit consult included, so the pullback and rise suit the way you actually sit. Where the price lands depends on cable length, internal wiring, and model year — your quote is firm before we touch the bike.
This is you if you're going noticeably taller — apes, minis, or anything past factory cable reach.

Bars we fit, bikes we know
Call it what you like — ape hangers, a handlebar swap, mini apes, extended cables. Here's what it looks like on a Harley, and which fitting it usually is.
Ape hangers
10″ to 16″ apes on Softails, Dynas, and Sportsters. Extended throttle and clutch cables, brake lines, and wiring run inside the bar where the bars allow. Riser torque set to spec so nothing walks on you. Usually a Full Fit.
Mini apes and 8″ to 10″ bars
The most requested fitting. Often just past factory cable reach, so cables and lines are extended and the wiring is lengthened cleanly — not spliced in a hurry. A Full Fit on most models.
Bagger bars: Street Glide, Road Glide, Road King
Fairing-mounted bikes need the wiring run through the fairing and the bars without rattles or chafe. Infotainment, cruise control, and heated grips are all checked before the bike goes back.
Pullback bars, beach bars, and drag bars
Lower, wider, or further back. Often a Swap: controls realigned, bar angle set to your shoulders, every fastener torqued, then test-ridden.
Risers on Softail, Dyna, Sportster, Fat Boy, Heritage
Pullback risers, taller risers, or a different bend on the bars you have. Text a photo and we'll tell you whether it's a Swap or a Full Fit before you buy anything.
Extended cables, brake lines, and internal wiring
Already have the bars? We handle the part that makes or breaks the job: correct cable lengths, brake lines routed and bled properly, and wiring that passes through the bar without a nick.

Handlebars look simple. Fitment isn't.
Riser torque, cable reach, internal wiring, brake line routing, bar angle to your shoulders — small decisions that separate a clean fit from a constant annoyance. Tailored Moto exists to make those decisions correctly, once, so you never think about them again.

The practical stuff
How long will you have the bike?
Days, not weeks. You'll get a firm timeline with your quote, before you commit to anything.
Where does the work happen?
Usually in Stow — you'll get the address and a drop-off time when you book. Too far? Ask about pickup and delivery, or we can come do the work at your place.
Is the work guaranteed?
If anything we touched isn't right, bring it back and we'll make it right. No fine print.
Do you only work on Harleys?
Harleys are the specialty. Riding something else? Ask — if it's not work we can do to our standard, we'll tell you straight.
How much does it cost to install ape hangers on a Harley?
Most ape hanger fittings are a Full Fit: $949 to $1,300 for the labor, depending on cable length, internal wiring, and model year. Bars close to stock height are a Swap from $339. Text a photo of your bike and the bars for a firm number.
Can you install handlebars I already bought?
Yes. Bring the bars you have and we'll handle the cables, lines, wiring, and fitment. If something about the bars won't work on your model, we'll tell you before any work starts.
